God’s Gifts – Why We Should Be Thankful For What He Does For Us
You’ve probably heard the saying, Give thanks to God in all circumstances. The Bible tells us that we should give thanks to God for his indescribable gift (2 Corinthians 9:15). It also reminds us that we should give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18). So what are some of these gifts from God? How can you be thankful when you don’t think that you have anything to be thankful for?
God Is A Giver
God does not keep a scorecard on how many times we’ve prayed to him or how many tithes we’ve paid. God gives without strings attached, and it is our privilege to give back. It doesn’t take much effort—in fact, it may be as simple as saying thank you. God has given us so much, but sometimes we forget just how great his gifts are. Many Of God’s Gifts Are Free
While we can have a good time thinking about all of God’s gifts, there are some that are free. These free gifts come from God out of his love for us. It’s important to remember that God gives because he loves and not because we deserve it. This is a great gift from God and one many of us often take for granted. God provides food, water, air, and much more. All of these things are necessary for life but God freely provides them without any expectation of repayment or even thanks.
Some Of God’s Gifts Require Payment: There are also gifts from God that require payment on our part. These include salvation and eternal life in heaven with God. In order to receive these great gifts, we must give back to God by accepting his Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Jesus paid for these free gifts with his life on a cross nearly 2,000 years ago. When we accept Jesus’ sacrifice, God provides us with forgiveness of sins and eternal life. It’s important to remember that God doesn’t expect repayment or even thanks for these great gifts; he freely gives them because he loves us. However, it is expected that those who have received such a gift will give back to God in return by living their lives according to his word and example.
How To Accept God’s Free Gifts With Thankfulness
God gives us all kinds of gifts, and we should accept them with thankfulness. However, accepting God’s free gifts doesn’t mean being a victim and just accepting everything that happens to you in life as part of God’s plan. No matter what is happening in your life, you have an option to give back to God for his generosity. Here are a few ways you can give back to God when he has given you gifts. A few ways to give back to God: Give thanks through prayer – Pray about everything going on in your life. You can pray about work or family or friends or school or health issues. Prayer helps bring perspective into our lives and helps us focus on what really matters most. Through prayer, we show gratitude for God’s blessings in our lives by expressing our appreciation to him through words and thoughts.

God gives us so many gifts. The biggest gift is his Son, Jesus Christ. But there are other ways to give back to God for what he has done for us. Here are ten of them 1) Pray. 2) Give to others in need. 3) Volunteer your time and talents at a church or ministry that you believe in. 4) Spend time with God every day through Bible reading and prayer. 5) Read Christian books and listen to Christian music that will help you grow spiritually. 6) Share God’s Word with those who don’t know him yet. 7) Tithe 10% of your income as an act of worship to God. 8) Go on mission trips and do short-term missions locally 9) Start a bible study group in your home 10) Write down how God works in your life each day and thank him for it!
